In Clash of Clans, you build your village and the goal is to enlarge and improve the buildings over time. For this you will need to use two types of resources: the elixir and gold. Several leagues exist on the number of trophies you collect. You start at the bottom of the ladder by joining the bronze league to reach if you are good to the rank of champion. When you reach at 1250 gems, you will receive a reward of 450 gems which is a real good plan!
Clans
Very soon you will realize that the best possible protection is in your clan castle. If you are in a clan, you can ask your troops to be allies. These soldiers, stored in the clan castle released in case of enemy attack and will kill some enemy soldiers or all the soldiers, thus, slowing your opponent in attack your village. If the allied soldiers are still alive at the end of the battle, they will return in your clan castle. It is a must to get a very powerful unit that you obviously cannot create when you just start.
In contrast, if you are short on troops during one of your attacks, you can also deploy your troops on the battlefield. All the soldiers come out of the castle and of course, in the end part whether you win or not, all these brave infantrymen will be lost.
Giants are the best Clash of Clans troops because they can fill in tank role superior than barbarians and they have more health to be less at risk of being splashed by Wizard Towers and Mortars Attack. They are effective in prioritizing targeting defensive building and focus to neutralize the enemy’s defensive power faster and also to distract as well as soak the hits for comrades.
Few Giants with many Archers
An effective strategy is combining some Giants with many Archers. To do this, first deploy them to distract the focus of defensive structure attack and secondly immediately dropping Archers close to the attacking and destroying attacking tower. If used right, this strategy easily wipe whole base and reward 3-star victory.
Combining Wall Breakers and Goblins with Giants
When combined with Goblins and Wall breakers, the strategy becomes great to use on a highly fortified base that is loaded with resources. Similar to above tactic, position Giants distracting defensive structures and then Wall Breakers at the wall columns you want to breach. You just need to be aware of defensive towers that are in the locality having focus on Giants as Wall breakers are more fragile. Once you are able to breach the wall, immediately release the attacking units such as Archers and Barbarians to eliminate defensive towers and deploy Goblins to take resources.
Lots of Giants with 2 Healers
Another popular raiding strategy is using many giants with 2 healers and it is suitable for all bases. Gather every Giant available in the map, if at all possible prefer Giants that are closer, and when the Giants get focused to attack by opposite defensive building, deploy 2 healers behind 5 tiles. 2 healers keep continuing to heal up all damage to Giants, and if given sufficient time, the Giants will wipe away the well-fortified base with few to no casualties. Just you need to take great care of Air defense that can shoot your healer units from distance and also to be aware of spring traps that can kill your Giant with an instant shot.
