I know you have heard what miracles a private blog network can do when it comes to rank a money website. Well, there is certainly truth in those statements and PBNs definitely do wonders. The expired domains are the basic soul of creating a PBN and now you surely have a thought of building a private blog network for your own money site as fast as possible and here you will commit a terrible and irreparable mistake.

Before you rush off and pick every expired domain you can lay your hands on, keep in mind that all domains are created not equal. And if you want your private blog network to bring the life changing success you have always dreamed of, you better learn how to sift through the dirt and find gold. In fact, Google has badly busted PBNs in the past and it is necessary that learn what went wrong at that time and what is going well in the present time regarding PBNs.

Google killed private blog networks which took down other ill-fated websites, blogs, and businesses with them a long time ago. Yes, that is correct. It was some time in 2012 when Matt Cutts, then head of Google’s Webspam Team, announced that they had taken an aggressive stance against private blog networks.

SearchEngineLand.com reported on how Google brought BuildMyRank (BMR), perhaps the biggest blog network open to the public, down to its knees. After deindexing the whole network on March 19, 2012, BMR immediately shut down their service and refunded their customers whose websites’ ranking and traffic tanked. Other blog networks like SEO Link Monster, Linkavana, and Authority Link Network (ALN) suffered the same fate, and then internet marketing forums like Warrior and BHW were soon filled with the lamenting posts in this regard.

If you are going to take the old, spammy blog networks route, YES you will get busted for sure like ALN, BMR and Linkavana. These massive blog networks shared the same feather as;

  • They were spammed to death by IMers, SEOs, Bloggers, etc.
  • The content on these networks was utter crap being level 1 spinning with 70% uniqueness, etc.
  • The domains and blogs were not relevant to the posts.

And the list of SEO blunders committed by these PBNs went on and on.

Upon closer scrutiny, you will notice that Google didn’t bust these blog networks because they were blog networks, but the Big G took them down because their blogs and domains really sucked. In fact, it is spam that Big G has always been after and will remain so. To avoid these blunders and find a reliable solution, I suggest you go to gopbn.com and enjoy having a secure private blog network.

Why should I build my own private blog networks?

There are many reasons to own a private blog network and I will let you know a few of them here.

  • You do not need to waste any more money paying on monthly bills for someone else’s links.
  • You get full control of the quality of your backlinks.
  • You can maximize the link juice flowing to your money site in the most productive way.
  • You will have minimal set up cost for building a powerful network.
  • Today, a private blog network is the single most effective and cost effective way to boost your search engine rankings.
  • It is what the big shots in the industry are doing.
  • There is no doubt that a private blog network really works.
  • With a private blog network, you can literally dominate the low competition and local niches very quickly.

What content do I put on my PBN sites?

You have a few choices for content and fresh content is always the best choice but may not be manageable for everyone. You can consider the following choices for publishing content on your PBN domains.

  • See what was on the site previously using the WayBack Machine. If it is not trademarked, copyrighted, or copied content yet, you might want to simply put it back up on the live domain.
  • You can use an article spinner or creator. Well, it will not stand up to the manual checks of your private blog network, so it can be a risky step but it is a low cost and fast option among others.
  • The best option among all is to create your own content. You can find many freelancers at quite cheap cost for reasonable content creation.

What if my selected domain isn’t indexed in Google?

It may happen that your selected domains have been seen by Google to not have content on it before you bought it, and they will not show up in the search engine result pages. Now all you have to do is put content on it and if you want to, use an indexing service, ping it yourself, add a few links or social signals to it, and Google will re-index it assuming you have not put spam on it. It can take a few days to a few weeks for the domains to get indexed, but they surely will. In case they do not show up even after a few weeks, it is suggested to discard those domains of your list.
