Most Common Reasons of Losing Rankings in Google with Their Solutions

Google surprises us with algorithm changes frequently, so now your goal is to get more quality content for your users and also answer your searches with greater efficiency. So to stay at the top, always think about what it is you want and need for the user, but also do not forget what path you are on to deliver Google.

If for any reason you lost positions in Google to your page, there are some of the possible situations in which you can find possible remedies;

1 – Poor Content

Situation

Is the content of the pages of your site under two paragraphs of text? If your site has little content on most pages, including internal pages, there are chances that Google is considering you of little use as you have very little information.

Solution

Well, you need to write more, but sometimes it is just not possible such as online store. If there is an online store, you must add descriptive text to your categories and products. You only need between 200 and 250 words minimum. If it is a corporate website, start counting more about you and if for any short of ideas, it may be helpful to add a blog to your site, which will help improve the positioning and compensate the lack of content.

2 – Content copied

Situation

Well, it is simply intolerable for Google. You cannot move to any place with copied content, as it is one of the first issues that Google takes into account when positioning and preventing spam. It is not just focused on web content, but also online stores, for example, product sheets copied from other sites, even the official website of the company that manufactures.

Solution

Original text must be added to your website. No matter if you keep adding content from the manufacturer, but add additional content that may be useful, for example, you can provide advice or other information of interest to the user.

3 – Too many Links with Keywords

Situation

Your website contains a lot of keywords with links in them. For example, if your website is about power and you have many words in your text as ‘electrician’, ‘cheap electrician’, etc. it is highly likely that Google will penalize you.

Solution

You need to change some of these anchor text by synonyms or the name of your brand and add links in different words like ‘more’ or ‘at this website’ or ‘click here’. If you use links in the same 3 or 4 keywords, you will surrey have trouble ranking in Google.

4 – Inbound Links Blogrolls or Footers

Situation

Blogroll refers to the part of ‘recommended pages’ or the like, where pages are recommended of other similar sites. It is a widely used resource in blogs as a tool to exchange links. For the footer, we speak of the bottom of the web, less visible. If most of the links to your site belong to these sections, Google will not be happy with you even if the sites are of the same theme, although in this case to a lesser extent.

Solution

Try to get rid of all these links by contacting the sites that have been incorporated to eliminate them. Alternatively, try to create content and that content is disseminated by other means or social profiles as interesting aspect, rather than pure advertising.

There is nothing to be despair as there are always appropriate solutions. If you follow the right and recommended path, do things well thinking about the user, and provide quality content, it will always be the best route to success in the ranking of Google or simply hire reputable SEO company that has seen all the ups and downs of Google updates and still stands tall.
