Xiaomi Smartphones have gained in these years a special aura for their magnificent value for money. But in the details, it is where it can be the key to decide for your purchase. That is why we have been using the new Xiaomi Mi6 for a full month in search of what makes it special and still very attractive despite the great competition that already has in its price range; now it is available for just over 350 euros. Here is our feedback after a month of using Xiaomi Mi6.
At the launch of Xiaomi Mi 6, the main protagonism of the presentation of Xiaomi Mi 6 was the design, which had been dedicated much of the event. Xiaomi has chosen to return to a chassis delimited by a frame of stainless steel, and also by a curved rear of glass, similar to the one of Xiaomi Mi 5, although it seems, from what we have seen, with a more curvature soft. In fact, the brand presumes that it is curved in four ends and the corners themselves are rounded.
At Xiaomi, they are proud of the finish of this rear glass and stress that the process to shape it which consists of 40 steps carried out for 12 days. They say that they have decided to use it even though it is more expensive because of the beautiful finish it gets. The phone, moreover, is prepared to resist splashes, although they have not given more details on the degree of protection.
Xiaomi Mi 6 is available in three colors as blue, black and white. However, during the presentation, they showed a silver tone in which they still claim to be working and it was not available at the launch event.
Special Edition with Ceramics
While the normal phone will include a steel frame, there is a Ceramic Edition instead of glass that includes 18-carat gold lining around its rear chambers. It is a more resistant finish, but it is also more expensive.
Double Camera to Take Advantage of Portrait Mode
Xiaomi Mi 6 has the double camera that includes the new two lenses of 12MP, one of them of wide angle. With them, they get to do 2X optical zoom and, according to the official specifications, they are able to achieve a 10X digital zoom which is seen with very few losses. Like the Xiaomi Mi 5, it includes four-axis stabilizer.
