Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1982)

It is the first video game of Star Wars. It was a side scrolling game published by Parker Brothers in 1982 for the Atari 2600 console and later in 1983 for the Mattel Intellivision console. It was the first video game created based on the Star Wars saga. In the game, the player belongs to the Rebel Alliance and controls a Snowspeeder to fight the Imperial Walkers AT-AT on the planet Hoth.

Star Wars: The Arcade Game (1983)

Released for Atari 2600 and 5200 by ColecoVision as an arcade game, it is was a video game of spaceships rail-shooter style with 3D vector graphics. It represented the battle told by the Death Star.

Star Wars: Demolition (2000)

It is a video game of the vehicular combat where the player participates in the races of demolition against the rival vehicles.

Star Wars: Episode I: Battle for Naboo (2001)

Released for PC and N64, it is based on ‘Episode I: The Phantom Menace’ in which the player can pilot 15 different vehicles and must fight against the enemy ships on the earth, in water and air.

Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon (2003)

Released for GBA, it is a 3D space combat video game, where the player assumes the role of Han Solo and his friend Chewbacca and face the missions based on the events of the original trilogy of the films.

Star Wars: Republic Commando (2005)

Released for Xbox and PC, it is in first person carried out by a group of Clone Troopers during the war of the clones.

Star Wars: Imperial Ace (2006)

It is a game of ships in 3D where the player controls as a pilot of the empire to the control of a TIE Fighter.

Star Wars: Trench Run (2009)

Developed by Infrared5, it is based on the space battles of Episode IV. The player controls Luke Skywalker’s ship and fights the enemy ships in a 3D environment.

Star Wars: Republic Squadron (2009)

It is a 3D ship game that connects directly to the TV and uses a knob that detects the movement of the player.

Star Wars Arcade: Falcon Gunner (2010)

Released for iOS and developed by Vertigore Games, it is based on the space battles of Episode IV. The player controls the Millennium Falcon and fights the antagonist ships in a 3D environment. It was noted for being one of the first high quality video games to use the augmented reality to use the player’s view as a scenario of the battles.
