Yoshi
Yoshi is a dinosaur that appears in several games by Nintendo and, more commonly, is the name of a specific member of this species and the saga of Mario.
His first appearance was in 1991 in the game Super Mario World where he devoured with its tongue everything that was crossed to him in the way. To use Yoshi, Mario had to get an egg from a ‘surprise cube’, and point to the target he had to attack to get his tongue out. When eating Koopas’ shells, Yoshi can spit fire with the red shell, produce a small tumble in the ground with yellow shell and fly with wings with purple shell.
The generic Yoshi of Super Mario World is the green Yoshi. There are in this game three more Yoshis as red, yellow and purple, hidden in different levels. Having a shell in his mouth will be assigned the power corresponding to their respective color i.e. red-fire, yellow-cloud, purple-flight.
When Mario, on Yoshi’s back takes wings, rises to a bonus phase and the color changes to purple. Yoshi, when eating berries, can also create an egg that contains objects such as mushrooms or even a cloud-lance coins.
In Super Mario World, this dinosaur could not enter all the phases and remained outside the castles, the forts and the ghost houses. At the end of each world, Mario rescues an egg from Yoshi that hatches at the end of his adventure.
Princess Daisy
This super Mario princess is a fictional female character from the Mario Universe. She got her name from the flower-shaped designs she is always wearing on her dresses. She is the princess of the kingdom of Sarasaland, who was taken away by Tatanga. Daisy is a rather discourteous girl.
She is also a sociable and open-minded girl who likes to meet new people. Something more that they mention of the personality of Daisy. In the games of Mario Party in which they mention that she can become to be excessively competitive and that even has courage to face Bowser, like in a scene of the game Mario Party, she meets him, and strikes him sending him away, proving that she can easily defeat him, which is quite different from Princess Peach, the main super Mario princess, who always ends up falling under the plans of King Koopa.
Princess Daisy is a girl with high qualities to carry out any sport with success, as it has been observed throughout the sports games. Her clear competitive spirit makes her to be in all the games of sports that star Mario, and turn it, at the same time, in a rival of first. A very clear example we have in the game Mario Strikers Charged Football, where Daisy can match, and even surpass, the best of all captains. Seen that sports games are worth everything, so Daisy could become extremely aggressive as to punch terribly whoever crosses her path.
